Roar Riders

Our impact

"Roaring for Nature" is only worth saying if it is measured. Here is what the rides have actually done — counted conservatively from our own logs — a dated record of every clean-up and drop, and a plain account of where collected money goes.

The log

Every service action, with the date, the place, what came out on the scale, and a link to the ride write-up where there is one. This is the raw record — it is meant to be checkable, not tidy.

Where the money goes

Rides are free. The only money involved is the small amounts riders put in on service rides. It is not much yet, and it goes to a short list of things — here is the split.

The honest caveats. These numbers are self-reported and rounded down where we were unsure. A bag of collected plastic does not cancel the fuel we burned to get there — see the note on that. As the group grows we will get this audited properly and publish a yearly report.

Add to it

Every rider on a service ride adds a bag to the total. Come do one — the next ride is on the meetup page.
